The specially designed reversible cutting teeth guarantee reliability and the best results in cleaning cuts. It is an extremely versatile machine. Its compact size makes it suitable for a very wide range of excavators, from 5 tons up to 13 tons.

UML/HY

from 7 to 15 t.

With its updated design the UML/HY/VT has increased its strength and durability. The addition of the VT motor option has made the UML/HY/VT one of the most productive units in its class.
The hydraulic motor is internally positioned in the frame to protect it from dirt and potential damage, ensuring maximum reliability throughout the life of the attachment.
The VT version with automatic variable displacement hydraulic motor increases productivity by up to 50% and simultaneously reduces fuel consumption.

UML/EX

from 14 to 20 t.

Due to its size and its advantages in terms of robustness, reliability and performance, this is one of the most popular models in the FAE excavator mulcher line. The hydraulic mulching employs the latest FAE technology: the cylinders and the chain are located in the side housing compartment. The FAE enclosed body system also protects the internal hydraulic components from dust and debris.
The oversized skids make use easier and safer. The attachment plate system uses through-pins for strength and reliability in operation.
Available with multiple motor options including the variable torque 110cc VT motor which dramatically increases production and reduces fuel consumption. Multiple tooth options for a wide range of applications.

UML/S/EX

from 18 to 25 t.

Specifically developed for excavators ranging from 18 - 25 tons. Using key design features, such as interchangeable.

Furthermore, the VT automatic variable displacement hydraulic motor increases efficiency. This allows themachine to carry out complex operations effortlessly while working on sides of the roads, along river banks and onsteep slopes.

BL1/EX - BL1/EX/VT

from 4 to 7,5 t.

FAE introduces a new line of professional mulchers for excavators equipped with Bite Limiter technology. Special steel profiles limit the depth of blade action, reducing the demand for power, guaranteeing speed and exceptional performance. The BL1/EX (for 4-7.5 t excavators) has a 800mm / 31in working width and can mulch logs up to 12cm / 5in in diameter. The piston motor (with manually controlled variable displacement) makes it easy to use this mulcher on different excavators with different oil flow rates. The BL1/EX has a rotor equipped with a heat-treated forged steel tooth holder, together with Type E reversible blades. This light, compact mulcher is easy to manoeuvre and perfect for various types of forestry work.

BL2/EX/VT

from 8 to 14 t.

The BL2/EX/VT, designed for excavators from 8 to 14 t will mulch logs up to inches in diameter. It has a hydraulic piston motor with VT (variable torque) automatic displacement, significantly improving performance, increasing torque when necessary, and minimizing rotor stalling conditions. The rotor lies at the heart of this mulcher, and is equipped with a heat-treated forged steel tooth holder, for use with two different FAE teeth: the type E blade (reversible model) and the E/HD (Heavy Duty). Next-level functionality is guaranteed by Bite Limiter technology: special profiles in “Hardox” wear-resistant steel fitted near the teeth limit the depth of action of blades, guaranteeing optimum power management and exceptional performance.
The hydraulic thumb is one of the available options, useful in managing and moving the material to be mulched.

UMM/EX - UMM/EX/VT

from 20 to 36 t.

This Heavy Duty excavator mulcher is the flagship model of the FAE excavator mulcher range. It is designed and built for grinding up to 30 cm/12'' in diameter. High quality of the materials, reliable technology and attention to detail guarantee long lasting performance and reliability. It is designed to be used with excavators up to 30 t. The large rotor diameter ensures excellent results. It can be equipped with single or double transmission or variable torque hydraulic motor ("VT version") for maximum versatility.
